About Alie...
Alie Dumas-Heidt is the author of The Myth Maker, a silver medal winner at BookFest 2025. The Myth Maker introduces Detective Cassidy Cantwell as she searches for two killers in Tacoma, Washington – one from the present, and one from her past.
Alie also spends time talking about the early beginnings of fellow authors as host of The Writer’s Journey, a new podcast under the Authors on the Air Global Radio Network.
Alie now lives on the Kitsap Peninsula in Washington state with her husband, their adult kids, and two ridiculously spoiled dogs – Astrid and Torvi. When not plotting her next story, Alie loves creating in other mediums, including yarn and glass.
